BORO, Idaho (Reuters) – The winner of the Boise-area web design contest will get $500,000 for the first time in his or her career.
The $500k prize for the web designer is awarded to a winner of a design competition that is sponsored by the Idaho Department of Corrections.
The contest has been run for three years and has won $1 million in prize money and more than 30,000 entries.
The winner will be announced at a later date.
The winner is determined by the following criteria:A.
The design is innovative and unique.
The overall design of the website/service has a high degree of personalization.
The website/app/application design is unique, with a unique user experience.
The submission is unique to the contest and the contest rules.
A total of $1,000,000 in prizes has been awarded in the competition.
The top three winners will each receive $500K.
The three winners of the competition will each be awarded $250,000 each.
The Boise-based Corrections Department will use the money to help fund its prison outreach program, and for new technology.
